Doing a project is a lot of work. Here is a list of what we did:

In groups of three to five pupils we decided on a place in Great Britain. These are the places we chose:

Birmingham Laura H., Corinna M., Stephanie M., Lisa P., Gabi V.
Blackpool René H., Florian M., Maik R.
Chester Linda B., Hannah F., Melanie J., Alina S., Antje V.
Liverpool Marc-André H., Alexander J., Philipp K., Gerrit R., Mario W.
Manchester Matthias B., Florian F., Pia L., Lena M., Tim W.
Nottingham Julian D., Tim H., Henning K., Sebastian R.
York Katharina D., Lena G., Lisa J., Luiza J. Corinna W.

We surfed the Internet to find information about our town.
We wrote a letter to the local tourist information - in English, of course.
Together with the whole class we talked about how to design a good poster.
When we had got information from the tourist authorities and out of the Internet we started discussing, reading difficult English texts in the brochures, writing new texts that everybody could understand, cutting out pictures, arranging and sticking everything on our posters.
Before we gave our presentations we learned how to make a good presentation and how to give feedback.
The big final was the presentation of all the posters in front of the whole class. Look at the results and click at the name of the poster you are interested in:
York Blackpool Nottingham
Manchester Chester Liverpool Birmingham
